In the 90’s Mahla worked for Polaroid at the 20x24 Studio for Jan Hnizdo, ultimately being responsible for the International Polaroid Art Collection in Europe.
Followed by an international career in the company, Mahla has been the executive director of Polaroid GmbH until 2008.
Later Mahla transitioned into the international leadership team at the HQ of Logitech SA in Switzerland, responsible for the Central Region.
In 2015, he moved to Italy to become the Chief Commercial Officer for Vitec Group Imaging, managing brands such as Manfrotto, Lowepro, Joby and Gitzo.
Until today he closely collaborates with Florian (Doc) Kaps, founder of the Imposible Project. Mahla is an investor at Supersense GmbH - Home of Analogue Delicatessen.

Blohm‘s field of expertise in photography since 2014 is large format photography.
In 2017, Blohm took charge of the Documenta 14 photo division in Athens and Kassel.
His work has been published at exhibitions in France, Germany, England, Italy and at the MoMa in NYC.
In 2018 Blohm was trained on the 20x24 Camera by Jan Hnizdo (Prag) and John Reuter (NYC).
