In the 90’s Mahla worked for Polaroid at the 20x24 Studio for Jan Hnizdo, ultimately being responsible for the International Polaroid Art Collection in Europe.
Mahla holds a Master of Media Sociology of Frankfurt Goethe University. Followed by an international career within Polaroid Corp. in Boston MA, Mahla has been the executive director of Polaroid GmbH until 2008.
In the same year Mahla transitioned into the international leadership team of Logitech, living in Lausanne Switzerland, responsible for the Central Region.
During 2015, he moved to Italy to become the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President for Vitec Group Imaging. Based in Bassano del Grappa he was managing brands such as Manfrotto, Joby and Gitzo world-wide.
Until today he closely collaborates with Florian (Doc) Kaps, founder of THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT. Mahla is an investor, shareholder and manager at SUPERSENSE GmbH - Home of Analogue Delicatessen.
2018 he acquired the 20x24 Land Camera #5 and founded in 2019 the 20x24 Studio Berlin GmbH.

Blohm‘s field of expertise in photography since 2014 is large format photography. Born in Schwerin he holds a Master Design, living and working in Berlin as an Artist and photographer.
In 2017, Blohm took charge of the Documenta 14 photo division in Athens and Kassel.
His work has been published at exhibitions in France, Germany, England, Italy and at the MoMa in NYC.
In 2018 Blohm was trained on the 20x24 Camera by Jan Hnizdo (Prag) and John Reuter (NYC).
